RichArt - Suffering

The story

In a dimly lit, claustrophobic jail cell, a man named Evan sits trembling in the shadows. His once sharp features are now gaunt, his eyes wide with fear and desperation. The cold steel bars enclose him like a cage of nightmares, and the walls seem to close in a little more with every passing hour. His mind, unraveling, plays tricks on him-whispers echo from nowhere, shadows stretch unnaturally long, and every creak feels like the approach of something sinister.

Evan isn't just imprisoned by the bars of the cell but by the guilt and torment of the crime he's convinced himself he didn't commit. The isolation gnaws at him, day and night, amplifying his suffering. Each passing moment in the dark confines of the cell erodes his grip on reality. He bangs on the door, screams for help, but the only answer is silence.

As the days blend into each other, Evan begins to wonder if the true prison is not the cell but his own mind-haunted by guilt, fear, and the terrifying possibility that he may never be free. His suffering becomes a living entity, gnawing away at his soul, turning his cell into a personal hell where escape seems impossible.
