Ichor - Disorders

Inside the quarantine basilica, ICHOR was kept in glass arteries that pulsed beneath the altar, a black sacrament harvested from bodies that refused to die correctly. Every disorder had its own chamber: bone growth, memory rot, nerve fire, mouths opening where wounds should close. When the containment bells failed, the infected crawled toward the sound, dragging their broken patterns across the marble floor while surgeons in rusted masks kept praying to machines that no longer answered. The ichor did not spread like blood. It organized. It chose shapes, rewrote pain into doctrine, and turned the whole cathedral into a living diagnosis.
