Damo

DAMO is a UK-based neurofunk producer whose journey began in 2011 after discovering the groundbreaking sounds of Noisia and Spor. Captivated by the genre's cutting-edge production and uncompromising intensity, he spent years refining his craft and developing a sound built around powerful grooves, precision sound design and relentless momentum.

A chance conversation at a rave with friends of Malux proved to be a turning point, encouraging him to share his music publicly via SoundCloud. It wasn't long before his tracks gained attention, leading to an invitation from DnB Doctor to submit demos. This resulted in his debut release, Narcissist, marking the beginning of an ongoing relationship with the label.

Since then, DAMO has amassed five releases across DnB Doctor and Nocturnal Demons, including False Dawn, The Call of the Void, Cobra Clutch and the free download Source Code, steadily building a reputation for high-impact neurofunk. His sound is characterised by driving arrangements, intricate drum programming and heavyweight basslines, creating tracks that are both technically refined and devastatingly effective on the dancefloor.

Continuing to evolve with every release, DAMO remains focused on crafting neurofunk that blends technical precision, intricate drum work and crushing low-end pressure.
