JunoDownload Has Shut Down: What Happened & Where to Buy DnB Now
JunoDownload has closed. On 1 June 2026 the store stopped selling music without warning, after around 20 years as one of the go-to download shops for drum & bass and electronic music. Your past purchases can still be re-downloaded — and below are the best alternatives for buying DnB now.
For years, Juno was a go-to destination for buying high-quality WAV and MP3 downloads directly from labels and artists — and DnB Doctor releases have been available there since the early days of the label.
What happened to JunoDownload?
The storefront was replaced by a short farewell message, with no closing-down sale or advance notice. The company pointed to the long shift from buying music to streaming: as fans connect with artists through social media and direct-to-fan services like Bandcamp, the role of download stores keeps shrinking.
Can I still download my Juno purchases?
Yes. New purchases are no longer possible, but all tracks you have previously purchased remain accessible — log in to your Juno account to download them.
If an older order no longer shows a download option, contact Juno support with the order number and ask for it to be re-enabled.
Download and back up your whole library now — don’t assume the archive will stay online indefinitely.
Best JunoDownload alternatives for drum & bass
Juno itself pointed customers to Traxsource, Beatport, Mixupload and Volumo. For drum & bass, these are the stores worth knowing:
Beatport — the biggest DJ download store, with a deep DnB section, charts and WAV/AIFF downloads. DnB Doctor on Beatport.
Bandcamp — buy directly from labels and artists, often with lossless formats and the biggest share going to the artist. DnB Doctor on Bandcamp.
Traxsource — strong in house and garage, with a growing DnB catalogue.
Mixupload and Volumo — smaller DJ-focused stores that Juno recommended to its customers.
Where to get DnB Doctor music now
All DnB Doctor releases continue to be available on Beatport and Bandcamp for downloads, and on Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal and Deezer for streaming. Browse the latest releases — every release page links to all stores — or grab our free neurofunk sample pack.
We're grateful for every purchase made through Juno over the years. It made a real difference to the artists on the label, and to us as a team.
