Our community manager Anne picked her three neurofunk favourites for this month: a ruthless two-track statement from Hated & Zazul, a standout from Neuroheadz' massive Headz Up Vol. 4, and a masked roller from skalpe.

Hated and Zazul bring relentless pressure with a nasty, focused edge. The track moves with zero wasted space: tight drums, hostile bass movement and a drop built for dark rooms. skalpe closes Anne's selection with a sinister roller that wears its atmosphere well. Masquerade balances a cold, theatrical intro with a properly aggressive centre. The low-end is heavy, the rhythm stays restless, and the whole thing feels designed for a late-set turn when the room needs to get darker.
