Top 3 Neurofunk Tracks for This Month
Some tracks hit hard. These three stay in rotation.
Our community manager Anne picked her three neurofunk favourites for this month: a ruthless two-track statement from Hated & Zazul, a standout from Neuroheadz' massive Headz Up Vol. 4, and a masked roller from skalpe.
1. Hated & Zazul – Face Your Fears
Hated and Zazul bring relentless pressure with a nasty, focused edge. The track moves with zero wasted space: tight drums, hostile bass movement and a drop built for dark rooms. Anne's first pick is a reminder that Neuroheadz still knows how to make heavyweight neurofunk feel sharp rather than overworked.

2. Hackwaves, Hebra & Vandermou – Insane
A three-way collaboration with exactly the right amount of chaos. Insane locks into a punishing groove, then keeps twisting its sound design around it. It is one of the standout cuts from Headz Up Vol. 4 — direct, heavy and made for DJs who want a weapon rather than background music.

3. skalpe – Masquerade
skalpe closes Anne's selection with a sinister roller that wears its atmosphere well. Masquerade balances a cold, theatrical intro with a properly aggressive centre. The low-end is heavy, the rhythm stays restless, and the whole thing feels designed for a late-set turn when the room needs to get darker.
